Brief bio: Versebute became the ruler of Hell 200 years ago, when the combined forces of Heaven and Earth invaded Hell. Although Hell's forces were defeated Versebute single handily repelled the invasion, leading to an armistice.

Since then, Versebute has spent his days being bored and being an asshole.

Personality:

Versebute is surprisingly un-evil for a Devil King.

He's just a huge asshole. A dick, a prick, a bastard, a pain in the neck, butt and everywhere else. His sadistic streak is more an explosion in a sadistic paint factory. He unloads physical and mental torment on everyone around him and when questioned why only answers: "'cause I'm bored." He has quite a talent for picking up on what gets under people's skin and using that against them.

He does this mostly because he gets bored so easily it's hilarious. Strangely, he's very easily amused too. Simply beating on someone for any reason (or no reason at all) entertains him immensely. It just doesn't last very long and he goes back to moping around and sighing a lot, until he comes up with a way to enjoy himself again.

He rarely kills or seriously maims, just so he can torture people again in the future.

Although he is extremely intelligent and a crafty trickster, he doesn't seem to retain information very long or have a studious nature so he tends to not know what really should be common knowledge (such as not knowing devils make deals for souls, why heroes invade Hell, that the Final Boss shouldn't come first and use his ultimate move on newbies etc). That said, he has an unpredictable way of doing things that allows him to outsmart people with ease. Or just punch them. His favourite is to create no win situations then get people to try and struggle to find the non-existent solution.

He does seem to be sympathetic towards people who can't get a girlfriend though.

Abilities:

Think of everything possible and basically that. He's pretty much comically omnipotent. I tend to preserve the feeling that he's way more powerful than whoever I'm threading with. This is not for godmodding or me thinking he's super bad ass way cooler the most special snow flake ever it's because it's just part of the fun of the character and the dynamic he has with other characters. Embrace it, roll with it, enjoy it.

Smut Prefs:

Veresbute gets bored really easily and a partner that will do nothing but squirm is pretty likely to have him make comments about dead fish and leave half way through, so please keep that in mind.
